Протоиерей Александр Скорик, помощник настоятеля храмов Воскресения Христова, Христа Спасителя и настоятель миссии святителя Нектария в Новозеландском благочинии, мирно скончался 25  октября 2025 г в Окланде, Новая Зеландия, в возрасте 48 лет.

Он родился в городе Армянске (Крым) в 1977 году и был крещен в младенчестве в честь святого благоверного князя Александра Невского. The Australian and New Zealand Russian Orthodox Diocesan Music Committee held a Liturgical Music Conference from 8–12 October 2025 at Sts Peter and Paul Diocesan Cathedral, Strathfield. The event brought together over 50 participants of all ages and singing levels from parishes across the diocese. The participants were filled with joy and enthusiasm to once again gather, learn, and sing together.
The conference program featured a series of practical workshops covering a range of essential liturgical music skills, including note reading, vocal technique, conducting, and liturgical reading. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, participants were able to deepen their knowledge and strengthen their service in church choirs.

On 31 August 2025, the 12th Sunday after Pentecost, His Eminence George, Archbishop of Sydney, Australia & New Zealand, visited the Dormition Mission in Corrimal, NSW, accompanied by Protodeacon Martin Naef.
At 9:00 am, the rector Archpriest Dionisiy Halim and the faithful warmly greeted His Eminence, after which the Divine Liturgy commenced. Following the service, a cross procession was held around the church, in accordance with tradition.

On the great feast of the Dormition of our Most Holy Lady Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary, His Eminence, George Archbishop of Sydney, Australia and New Zealand, led the festive services at the Cathedral of Sts Peter and Paul in Strathfield. Concelebrating with His Eminence were the cathedral clergy.

On Monday, 18th and Tuesday, 19th August 2025, His Eminence George, Archbishop of Sydney Australia & New Zealand celebrated the Divine Services for the feast of the Holy Transfiguration of our Lord at Sts Peter and Paul Cathedral in Strathfield.

On Saturday, 19 July 2025, the parish of the Holy Chief Apostles Peter and Paul in Perth, Western Australia,  celebrated its 75th anniversary since its founding.

To mark this joyful occasion, His Eminence George, Archbishop of Sydney Australia and New Zealand arrived from Sydney and was warmly greeted at the airport by the parish rector, Archpriest Sergei Okunev, and Deacon Vladimir Ivliev.

Archbishop George and the accompanying clergy proceeded to the church to venerate the holy icons, after which the parish sisterhood hosted a welcoming tea.Continue Reading
