: All Diaspora Youth Conference

The All-Diaspora youth conferences have always been a wonderful tradition of the Russian Church Abroad. The first Conference took place with the blessing of the future First Hierarch of the ROCOR, Metropolitan Vitaly (Ustinov) of Montreal and Canada, in 1972 in Montreal (Canada). The Metropolitan invited Orthodox youth from ROCOR parishes on all continents to participate in the Conference.

The main objective of the All-Diaspora conferences is to unite the youth of the diaspora from Germany, North and South America, Australia and other parishes scattered around the world, to support the youth so that they do not feel isolated. The Synod of Bishops has blessed the next All-Diaspora Youth Conference to occur in Stuttgart, Germany from June 25 to July 1, 2024. For some more background you can read Father Andrei Sommer’s interview here.

The ANZ Diocese is working with the organisers on available places for Youth from our diocese and more details prior to registration. For now, if you are between 18 and 24 years old and are interested in attendance please send an email to Father Andrew Morgan at youth.rocor.anz@gmail.com. Depending on the response and places available, we will work with Bishop George on a balanced selection process to spread this opportunity across the Diocese.
