9 Aug 25: His Eminence Archbishop George celebrates the feast of the Great-Martyr Panteleimon at Gosford
On Saturday, 9 August 2025, His Eminence George, Archbishop of Sydney Australia and New Zealand celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the parish of the Holy Great-Martyr and Healer Panteleimon in Gosford NSW, marking the parish’s patronal feast day.
Serving together with His Eminence were Archpriest James Carles, rector of the parish, Archpriest Dionisy Halim, Protodeacon Alexander, and Deacon Michael Matys.
Following the Divine Liturgy and a moleben to St Panteleimon, Archbishop George offered words of heartfelt congratulations to Fr James and to the parishioners on the occasion of their feast. The celebration concluded with a festive parish lunch, lovingly prepared by the parish sisterhood.
