The Australian & New Zealand Diocesan 2024 Great Lenten Clergy Retreat was held on Tuesday, 2 April and Wednesday, 3 April. The clergy of the diocese headed by His Grace George, Bishop of Sydney Australia & New Zealand gathered at All Saints of Russia Church, Croydon Tuesday evening where matins was served. During the service, the participating clergy had an opportunity to take confession prior to receiving Holy Communion the following day. (more…)

ОБЩЕЕ ГОВЕНИЕ И ПАСТЫРСКОЕ СОВЕЩАНИЕ

ДУХОВЕНСТВА АВСТРАЛИЙСКО-НОВОЗЕЛАНДСКОЙ ЕПАРХИИ РПЦЗ

После длинного периода изоляции из-за пандемии, духовенство Австралийско-Новозеландской епархии собралось для общего говения, сослужения и пастырского совещания.

Во вторник, 22 марта священнослужители собрались в Кройдоне,  в храме Всех Святых в Земле Русской просиявших и прочитали последование ко Святому Причащению, затем была отслужена великопостная утреня. Во время утрени священнослужители имели возможность исповедоваться у своих духовников. (more…)

Communique

The 2019 Lenten Pastoral Conference of the clergy of the Australian & New Zealand Diocese (ROCOR), convened in Sydney 26-27 March, in the presence of His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion The First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church and His Grace Bishop George of Canberra.

The Conference commenced with Matins and a talk by Fr Peter Heers “The Boundaries of the Church and the Demonic method of adulteration of the Faith in Ecumenism” which generated a lively discussion amongst the clergy. (more…)

В четверг 24-го марта и в пятницу 25-го марта 2016 г. в Сиднее собралось духовенство Австралийско-Новозеландской Епархии на обычное великопостное пастырское говение и совещание. Эти даты были выбраны поскольку пятница 25-го была государственным празником, облегчая приезд многих из духовенства, занятых в светских должностях.

В четверг после обеда духовенство собралось для общения на чашку чая в зале архиерейской церкви Всех Свв. Земли Российской в Кройдоне. Вечером вычитали правило перед причащением, затем служилась утреня. Хор из духовенства вёл пение и чтение служб на церковно-славянском и английском языках. Преосвященный Георгий, епископ Канберский читал акафист во время правила, а настоятель Кройдонского прихода свящ.Симеон Некипелов служил утреню. (more…)

Уже много лет в течение Великого поста духовенство Австралийско-Новозеландской епархии собирается для обсуждения дел пастырского и литургического значения. Последние годы стало обычаем проведение таких встреч также в связи с ежегодными молодежными мероприятиями в декабре.

В декабре 2015 г. духовенство всех четырех благочиний собралось в двух местах. Первое собрание состоялось на месте Епархиального лагеря юной молодежи (Luther Heights Camp, Coolum Beach, в штате Квинсленд); второе – на месте Епархиального Съезда старшей молодежи (Camp Manyung, Mount Eliza, в штате Виктория). For many years it has been customary for the clergy of the Australian-New Zealand Diocese to gather together during Great Lent to discuss matters of pastoral concern and liturgical practice.  In recent years, it has become usual for such gatherings to be held in conjunction with the annual Diocesan youth activities during December.

In December 2015, clergy from all four deaneries convened in two locations.  The first gathering was at the Luther Heights Camp at Coolum Beach, Queensland, the site of the Diocesan Teen Retreat.  The second was at Camp Manyung in Mount Eliza, Victoria, the site of the over-18s Diocesan Youth Conference. On Tuesday 24 March and Wednesday 25 March 2014 the clergy of the Australian and New Zealand Diocese gathered in Sydney, NSW, for the customary Lenten Pastoral Retreat and Conference.

On Tuesday evening at the Archbishop’s Chapel of All Saints of Russia in Croydon, an inner suburb of Sydney, the Rule of Preparation for Holy Communion was read and Lenten Matins was served.  The clergy formed the choir for both services.  Hieromonk Dorofei (Urusau) read the akathist during the Rule of Preparation for Holy Communion and Mitred Archpriest Michael Li presided during Matins. From 4-5 March 2013, representatives of the monks of the Australia and New Zealand Diocese met together in Dandenong for a period of fellowship in support of their shared monastic life. A majority of the monks of the diocese were present for the period of prayer, reflection and fraternal fellowship. (more…)
