\"\"<\/a>On Monday, 28th July 2025, the parish of St Vladimir Church in Centennial Park, NSW, joyfully celebrated its patronal feast day in honour of St Vladimir, Equal-to-the-Apostles. The occasion was marked with the Divine Liturgy served by His Eminence George, Archbishop of Sydney, Australia and New Zealand.<\/div>\n

Co-serving with His Eminence were Archpriest Daniel Metlenko, parish rector, Deacon Mark Shigelski, and clergy from the Sydney Deanery. Despite it being a regular working day, the church was filled with faithful parishioners, the majority of whom partook of Holy Communion.<\/div>\n

Following the Divine Liturgy, a cross procession took place around the church. Upon its conclusion, Archbishop George offered his heartfelt\u00a0congratulations<\/span> to Fr Daniel, Deacon Mark, and the parishioners on their feast day. The traditional “Many Years” was joyfully intoned by the protodeacon.<\/div>\n

The celebration continued in the church hall, where the parish sisterhood warmly invited everyone to share in a festive luncheon, fostering a spirit of unity and fellowship among all present.<\/div>\n

The day served as a beautiful testament to the spiritual life of the parish and their deep veneration for their heavenly patron, St Vladimir.<\/div>\n
