: Diocesan Strategic Planning Meeting

On Thursday 7 June 2012, at 6:00 pm, after the Moleben for Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth, all the clergy and lay people led by His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion, began a Strategic Planning meeting in the hall of the Croydon Parish.

After prayer, Vladika encouraged everyone who had gathered to raise all pertinent strategic issues which they felt should be addressed in our Diocese. Father Michael Protopopov led the meeting and all relevant issues were put up for discussion. Most people raised concerns about youth, education (religious and general), finances, missionary work, monasticism, the life of the Diocese and liturgical life of parishes.

At the end of the meeting, Vladika thanked everyone. He added that the issues raised would be discussed by the Diocesan Council and reviewed for potential implementation.

After prayer, the clergy and attendees gathered together and talked in the warm atmosphere that had been generated. All agreed that we were all here for the same reason: to see our Diocese grow and develop for the greater glory of God.
