31 Aug 25: Dormition Mission in Corrimal Celebrates Feast with Archbishop George
On 31 August 2025, the 12th Sunday after Pentecost, His Eminence George, Archbishop of Sydney, Australia & New Zealand, visited the Dormition Mission in Corrimal, NSW, accompanied by Protodeacon Martin Naef.At 9:00 am, the rector Archpriest Dionisiy Halim and the faithful warmly greeted His Eminence, after which the Divine Liturgy commenced. Following the service, a cross procession was held around the church, in accordance with tradition.
His Eminence congratulated Fr. Dionisiy and the parishioners on their patronal feast day, offering his heartfelt wishes of good health and spiritual strength. After the service, a festal lunch was prepared and shared by the faithful in a spirit of joy and fellowship.
