День одиннадцатый (продолж.), 14 февраля 2008 г.
Владыка Иларион, о. Михаил и чтец Дионисий прибыли в Буэнос Айрес около 6-ти часов вечера. Их встретили в аэропорту псаломщик Воскресенского кафедрального собора Сергей, его жена Ольга и дочь Анна. Чуть позже подошёл Андрей Игоревич Андрушкевич, который вернулся из отпуска встретить и принять гостей в своем доме. По приглашению Владыки, вскоре из Сантьяго прибыл священник о. Алексей Аэдо, чтобы пообщаться со своими южно-американскими собратьями и участвовать в праздничных богослужениях. (more…)

В конце службы Митрополит Платон произнес проникновенное приветственное слово и подарил Владыке Илариону панагию и красивый церковный настенный календарь. В свою очередь Владыка Иларион поблагодарил Его Высокопреосвященство, Митрополита Платона и отметил, что наконец сбылось то, о чем зарубежная часть Поместной Русской Церкви десятилетиями молилась Господу. In the morning Vladyka met with the clergymen who, since May 2007, have aligned themselves with bishop Agathangel of Odessa (of the so-called THCA ROCA), though previously they had been subject to the Bishops’ Council of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, under the chairmanship of the First Hierarch of ROCOR, His Eminence Metropolitan Laurus. Десятый день
На следующее утро состоялась встреча Владыки с духовенством, которое с мая 2007 г. находится под омофором Епископа Агафангела Одесского (так называемому ВВЦУ РПЦЗ), раньше подчинявшееся Архиерейскому Собору Русской Православной Церкви Заграницей под председательством Первоиерарха РПЦЗ, Его Высокопреосвященства Митрополита Лавра. Day 6, 9 February 2008
Compared to the other days in Chile this day proved to be relatively easy-going. Breakfast and lunch were taken at the hotel.
In the morning the delegates were able to work on news articles, personal emails and reading. After lunch they left by plane to Santiago.
Representatives of the Arab Orthodox community came to farewell the bishop and his co-travellers, their eyes still obviously gleaming with the joy they had experienced from such and unusual and important meeting. (more…)

Шестой день, 9 февраля 2008
По сравнению с другими днями в Чили, этот день не был особенно интенсивным. Завтрак и обед в гостинице.
Утром делегаты РПЦЗ имели возможность заняться составлением репортажа, личной перепиской и чтением, а после обеда полетели в Сантьяго.
Провожать Владыку и его спутников приехали представители арабской православной общины, в глазах которых продолжала сиять та радость, которую они получили от этой, для них необыкновенной, знаменательной встречи. (more…)

Day 3, 6 February 2008
On Wednesday morning Vladyka Hilarion, Fr Michael, Fr Alexei and Roberto Leon visited the senior clergyman of the Chilean diocese – Archimandrite Benjamin (Wosniuk). No one knew how the meeting with Fr Benjamin would proceed, since even prior to the signing of the Act of Canonical Communion (in May of 2007) he had ceased commemorating his lawful Church hierarchy. However, Fr Benjamin received the archbishop and those accompanying him in a courteous and friendly manner. He spoke with the archbishop and Fr Michael regarding his stance on the question of Church unity. He conveyed his misgivings concerning the present Church situation and cited many examples from history which, in his opinion, support his point of view. Mother Abbess Juliana arrived during the conversation and attentively listened to all that Fr Benjamin, Vladyka and Fr Michael said. Despite the fact that no consensus was reached on the question of the restoration of ecclesiastical unity and both Fr Benjamin and Mother Juliana remain with their previous opinion, both of them parted with the archbishop and those with him on a friendly note. Any further decision concerning their personal relationship to what has transpired depends fully on whether they wish to accept that the conciliar decision of the entire Russian Orthodox Church was in accordance with God’s will and subject themselves to their lawful Church authorities.
