В радости Царства Божия, ибо «веселимся божественне, яко воскресе Христос» (из Пасхального канона), приношу свое Пасхальное целование всем: как тем, кто благополучно завершил свой карантинный затвор, празднуя ныне в храмах и Святых Христовых Таин приобщаясь, так и тем, кто продолжает пребывать в пустыне уединения и различных ограничений, посвящая значительную часть своего времени частной молитве, душеполезному чтению, общению с родными и близкими. И первые, и последние, по выражению Златоуста, «день почтите», сердцем воспринимая богатства благости Божией! (more…)

CHRIST IS RISEN!

With the joy of God’s Kingdom, as we are “divinely glad, for Christ is risen” (from the Paschal Canon), I offer my Paschal greeting to all: both to those who have successfully completed the reclusion of their quarantine, celebrating now in the churches and communing of Christ’s Holy Mysteries; and also to those who yet abide in the desert of solitude and various restrictions, dedicating the better portion of their time to private prayer, spiritually beneficial reading, and interaction with friends and relatives. May the former and the latter both, in the words of St. John Chrysostom, “honor the day,” receiving in their hearts the riches of God’s goodness! (more…)

Милостью Всещедрого Бога мы сподобились достигнуть светозарной пасхальной ночи и вновь радуемся славному Христову Воскресению. Сердечно поздравляю всех вас, мои дорогие, с этим великим праздником и торжеством из торжеств.

Почти две тысячи лет отделяют нас от воспоминаемого ныне события. Однако каждый год Церковь с неизменным духовным трепетом празднует Воскресение Господне, неустанно свидетельствуя об исключительности того, что произошло в погребальной пещере возле стен древнего Иерусалима. (more…)

Покланяясь вместе со всей Церковью Христу-Жизнодавцу, горячо молю Его благость, да дарует Он нам тот неземной и вожделенный мир, который Он оставил ученикам Своим, и благословит наше молитвенное и братское общение о имени Его. I express my heartfelt greetings to you my brother archpastors, dear in the Lord fathers, brothers and sisters, on this holy, brightest and all-joyous day of the Resurrection of Christ, and in the name of the Three-day Risen God, the Lover of Mankind, extend to you the embrace of Paschal rejoicing and fraternal love! Bowing down to Christ, the Giver of Life, together with the entire Church, I fervently pray for His mercy, that He grant us the unearthly, desired peace that He gave His disciples, and blesses our prayerful and fraternal communion in His name.
