His Eminence will remain in the Australian and New Zealand Diocese until 22nd January 2009 and will lead the services for both The Nativity and The Baptism of our Lord Jesus Christ at the Diocesan Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul in Strathfield, Sydney.

Он был искренним христианином, в жизни которого ярко отражались заповеди блаженства. Он был смиренным духом, чистым сердцем, миролюбивым и благостным человеком.
В великом роду Романовых Михаил Андреевич был одним из близких по крови к Царю-мученику Николаю Александровичу. Он был внуком младшей сестры императора великой княгини Ксении Александровны и великого князя Александра Михайловича.
