20 Jan 20: His Grace Bishop George celebrates the Baptism of Our Lord at Sts Peter and Paul Cathedral Strathfield
On Saturday 18th of January 2020 and Sunday 19th January 2020, His Grace Bishop George of Canberra celebrated Vigil and the Divine Liturgy at Sts Peter and Paul Cathedral Strathfield NSW. Following the litugy, His Grace served the rite of the Great Blessing of Waters.

14 Jan 20: His Grace Bishop George celebrates the Nativity of Our Lord at Sts Peter and Paul Cathedral Strathfield
On Monday, 6 January 2020 and Tuesday, 7 January 2020, His Grace George, Bishop of Canberra celebrated the great feast of the Nativity of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at Sts Peter and Paul Cathedral, Strathfield, NSW. Co-served with his Grace were the Cathedral clergy, Archpriest George Lapardin, dean of the Cathedral, priest Michael Storozhev and protodeacon Alexander Kotlaroff.
Following the Divine Liturgy, a festal lunch was held in the church hall where the faithful joyously congratulated each other with the feast.
30 Dec 19: On Saturday, 21 December and Sunday, 22 December The Russian Orthodox Male Choir of Australia and the Tsar Nicholas II Choir in New York, sung the All Vigil and the Divine Liturgy at the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign in New York City

27 октября 2019 года, в Неделю 19-ю по Пятидесятнице, день памяти святых отцов VII Вселенского Собора, Патриарший экзарх Юго-Восточной Азии митрополит Сингапурский и Юго-Восточно-Азиатский Сергий и викарий Сиднейской и Австралийско-Новозеландской епархии епископ Канберрский Георгий совершили Божественную литургию в Петропавловском кафедральном соборе в Сиднее.
Иерархам сослужили клирики Патриаршего экзархата Юго-Восточной Азии, ставропигиальных приходов Московского Патриархата в Австралии и Австралийско-Новозеландской епархии. (more…)
31 Oct 19: Освящение первого камня нового православного храма в Блэктауне
26 октября в сиднейском районе Блэктаун прихожане Покровского храма Московского Патриархата и многочисленные гости отметили 30-летие прихода. В этот день происходило также освящение первого камня в фундамент нового храма, который будет построен здесь.
На праздник приехал митрополит Сергий Сингапурский и Юго-Восточно-Азиатский, епископ Канберрский Георгий, священнослужители из России и из приходов Австралийской епархии РПЦЗ. (more…)
24 Oct 19: Престольный праздник в Покровском храме в Кабраматте
14 октября в Покровском храме в Кабраматте отметили престольный праздник. Литургию отслужил епископ Канберрский Георгий в сослужении с настоятелем храма и священниками сиднейских русских храмов. После литургии сестричество пригласило всех на торжественную трапезу в прицерковном зале. В этот день настоятель Покровского храма Борис Игнатьевский отмечал 25-летие своего служения священником.
Покровский храм в Кабраматте один из самых крупных и красивых в Сиднее. Его строительство в пятидесятые-шестидесятые годы во многом связано с именем священника Ростислава Гана, который был здесь настоятелем с 1953 до своей кончины в 1975 году. В строительстве здания храма большую помощь оказывали прихожане, они очищали старые кирпичи, из которых слагались стены, выполняли различные работы. (more…)
24 Oct 19: 70th anniversary of Holy Protection Cathedral in Melbourne
On Sunday, October 20, 2019, Intercession Cathedral in Melbourne, Australia, celebrated the 70th anniversary of the founding of the community. Divine Liturgy was celebrated by His Grace Bishop George of Canberra along with the cathedral’s Dean, Mitred Protopriest Nicholas Karipoff and a multitude of clergymen from Melbourne and Sydney. Afterwards, a festive luncheon was offered, attended by over 250 people. (more…)
