This year, the Gosford parish will celebrate its patronal feast on Saturday 7 August 2010. All-night Vigil will begin at 6.00pm on Friday 6 August 2010, with the Lesser Blessing of Waters at 7.45am on Saturday 7 August 2010, and Divine Liturgy at 8.30am. God willing, His Grace Bishop Agapit will be present at all services. Clergy and altar servers should bring gold vestments. Afterwards, there will be a festive lunch at the Niagara Park Community Centre in Washington Avenue, Niagara Park, only 5 kms/10 minutes drive from the church. All are invited! (more…)

On Saturday the 20th June / 3rd July, around 60 faithful from across Australia came to Gunning, NSW, to celebrate the patronal feast of St John Wonderworker of Shanghai & San Francisco.

The faithful gathered at the Gunning local Anglican Church, which was made available to the local Orthodox community to celebrate the Vigil and the Divine Liturgy for St John of SF. The Chapel of St John being to small to accommodate the expected visitors for the Feast Day. (more…)

Breaking News – Bishop Agapit will arrive in the Australian and New Zealand Diocese as originally scheduled and will serve at the Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral on Sunday 11th July and Monday 12th July for the Feast of theHoly Apostles Peter and Paul.
