In 2013 the feast of the Annunciation coincided with the 3rd Sunday of Great Lent which is the Veneration of the Holy Cross.
The combined festal service was served at Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral by the cathedral clergy.

From 4-5 March 2013, representatives of the monks of the Australia and New Zealand Diocese met together in Dandenong for a period of fellowship in support of their shared monastic life. A majority of the monks of the diocese were present for the period of prayer, reflection and fraternal fellowship. (more…)

On 10th of January 2013 His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion arrived in Mumbai, India where he spent a number of days visiting the Indian Orthodox Mission.
The former Metropolitan of the Anglican Church in India, John Augustine hosted a welcome dinner later that evening to mark the historic event of the first ROCOR Metropolitan to visit the Indian sub continent. (more…)

More than 50 young people between the ages of 14 and 17 years from all over Australia and also from New Zealand, enthusiastically attended the second Teen Retreat organised at the end of 2012 by the Australian Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia (ROCOR).
This year’s retreat followed a successful retreat for this age group in 2011 with many of the same young people attending for the second time and encouraging their friends to attend also. (more…)
