On October 14, 2024, His Eminence Archbishop George of Sydney Australia and New Zealand together with His Eminence Archbishop Gabriel of Montreal and Canada celebrated the Divine Liturgy at Holy Protection Church in Cabramatta NSW for its patronal feast day. 13 Oct 24: His Eminence Archbishop George together with His Eminence Archbishop Gabriel celebrated the Divine Liturgy at Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral in Strathfield
On the 15th Sunday after Pentecost, His Eminence Archbishop George of Sydney Australia and New Zealand together with His Eminence Archbishop Gabriel of Montreal and Canada celebrated the Divine Liturgy at Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral in Strathfield. The Cathedral clergy joined them in co-serving the service.
The sermon delivered by Vladyka Gabriel focused on the Gospel reading of the day, encouraging the faithful to draw spiritual lessons and apply them in their daily lives.
The choir, under the skilled direction of Andrei Laptev, sang beautifully during the Divine Liturgy, enhancing the service’s spiritual atmosphere with their harmonious voices. (more…)

On September 17, 2024, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia received Archpriest Michael Protopopov, Chancellor of the Diocese of Sydney, Australia and New Zealand of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, Rector of the Church of the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos in Dandenong, Australia, at the Patriarchal residence in Chisty Lane in Moscow.

25 Aug 24: His Eminence George, Archbishop of Sydney Australia and New Zealand celebrate the feast of St Panteleimon at Gosford NSW
On Thursday 8 August and Friday 9 August we had services in honour of Great Martyr Panteleimon (+305 AD), the heavenly patron of our parish. All-night Vigil with the blessing of wheat, wine, oil and five loaves was served on Thursday evening. Concelebrating with the parish rector were Priest Simon Nekipelov, rector of All Saints of Russia parish, Croydon, and Deacon Michal Matys of the Wallsend parish. (more…)

The opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic games in Paris was a vivid and most emphatic manifestation of what spirit has descended among men. Many people from across the world were left shocked, scandalised, and in disbelief watching what was unravelling before their eyes. This global event that gathers all nations from across the globe, this ‘opening’ – expressed in an unequivocal way the inauguration or affirmation of a ‘new world order’ which is antithetical to God’s order, an open declaration of who it serves, i.e, who its ‘master’ is, and who it battles against. This ‘ceremony’ was nothing less than a satanic assembly, very dark and very telling of the spiritual state the world is cataclysmically spiralling into. This worldly ‘state of affairs’ is nothing new for Orthodox Christians. The only difference is the level of brazenness with which this satanic ball was executed, all of which point to things rapidly escalating and in apocalyptic proportions. (more…)
